01 Dec Summer Festival Wedding Photography – Louise & Kwadwo
I’m delighted to introduce the PhotoFilm to my wedding packages and the first film I’m sharing is from Louise & Kwadwo’s wedding I photographed in Croydon this summer. It was a belter of a day, sunshine from dawn until dusk, although I dare say a little too hot for me at times. They got married at a church where Louise used to sing in the choir, and then moved on to one of the most chilled out and fun days I’ve ever had at a wedding. They’d hired a field and a teepee and turned what can be a very formal occasion into a summer festival. Games, barbecue, camper vans, mobile pizzas and a bar. What more do you need!?
So what’s a PhotoFilm you ask? It’s a slideshow of selected images from the wedding day set to recordings of the speeches and, if I’m allowed to do so, the ceremony too. For this wedding it was just the speeches, but I get plenty to work with. For me, the PhotoFilm is a brilliant compromise of what a videographer can offer without actually having one there. OK so there are no moving pictures, but you still get to see the speeches while enjoying photos from throughout the day. The best way to really see what a PhotoFilm can add to your day is to watch one. Enjoy!
And for those of you who just want to see the photos here are my favourites from Louise & Kwad’s summer festival wedding…
