Danny & Karen were married on Easter Sunday at Great Hallingbury Manor in Bishop’s Stortford. I’ve known Dan since College but we’ve mostly only kept in touch through mutual friends so it was great to get back in touch properly and meet Karen when they asked me to photograph their wedding. Here are a few of my favourites from the day…

At the end of March I photographed Ketan and May’s wedding in Harrow and after the ceremony we headed up to Canon’s Park for a few portraits.
Thankfully the rain held off and although the skies were a blanket grey, from a photographer’s point of view it’s like working in an enormous soft box so no harsh shadows….lovely.

Just a heads up to anyone that can make it to Ruislip this week for the Northolt & District Photographic Society 60th Anniversary Exhibition. Members will be displaying prints of their best work at The Cow Byre Gallery in Ruislip from Monday 12th April to Saturday 17th April 2010. The exhibition is open between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and entrance is free.
I will have 7 prints on display alongside work from all the other members and the standard is always high at our ehibitions. I’ll be there on the Friday morning but there’ll be members on hand to answer questions whenever you go. I hope to see some of you there.
More details are on the club’s website here.
For your Sat Navs enter HA4 7QL otherwise it is approximately on the corner of Bury Street and Eastcote Road on the map is below and pay and display parking is available on St Martin’s Approach. For some reason the marker isn’t showing but click ‘larger map’ and it will show where the Cow Byre is.

Two in one post this week to catch back up. Following a bit of feedback I have decided to change my mind about ‘produce and am putting forward the mushroom as my shot for this week. I think it says ‘produce’ more than the cheese shot and think the simpler composition works better. I’ve left the cheese one up too for those that want to see it.
The ‘reject’
Next up is ‘Quad’. This was from a recent trip to West Mersea on the Essex coast.
